    Digible Privacy Policy

    This Privacy Policy explains how Agape Labs Ltd ("Agape Labs", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Digible iOS app and related services.

    By using Digible, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

    Who we are and how to contact us

    Scope

    This Policy applies to the Digible iOS application and any pages we host to provide legal disclosures (e.g., this policy). It does not cover third-party websites you may visit via links.

    Eligibility

    Digible is intended for users aged 13+. If you are under 13, do not use the app. If you are in a region with a higher age of digital consent, you must meet that local age requirement or obtain parental consent.

    Summary of how we process your data

    • We collect account data you provide (e.g., username, email for email-auth), optional profile photo, and user-generated content (annotations, comments, likes, friends).
    • We use your data to operate Digible's social features, maintain accounts, secure the service, and send notifications you permit.
    • We store data primarily with Apple's CloudKit; certain transactional features (e.g., password reset) may run via our backend on Google Cloud.
    • We do not sell your data.

    Data we collect

    • Account and profile: Username, display name, email address (email required for email-based authentication), optional profile picture you select. Authentication method (Sign in with Apple or email/password).
    • Social and content: Shared annotations, comments, likes, friendships and friend requests, notifications about activity.
    • Device and technical: IP address and basic device information in server or network logs. Push notification token to deliver notifications (does not identify you by itself). Crash/diagnostic information provided by Apple tooling (we do not embed third-party analytics SDKs).
    • Optional media access: Photos/camera only when you choose a profile image. We do not scan or continuously access your photo library.
    • Sensitive categories: We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g., health, biometric, precise location).

    How we use your data (purposes)

    • Provide and improve Digible: account creation and login; render your profile, posts, comments, likes, friendships. Deliver push notifications for friend requests, activity on shared content, and account/security updates. Maintain and improve app functionality, performance, and reliability.
    • Safety and security: detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or violations of our policies; support moderation of user-generated content (UGC).
    • Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

    Data sharing and processors

    We do not sell your personal data. We share data with service providers strictly to operate Digible:

    • Apple CloudKit (Apple Inc.): primary storage of user records and content.
    • Apple Push Notification service (APNs): delivery of push notifications.
    • Google Cloud Run (Google Cloud Platform, europe-west2): limited backend tasks such as sending password reset/verifications.
    • Email service provider: to send verification and password reset emails.

    International data transfers

    Your data may be processed in, or transferred to, countries outside your home country (e.g., via Apple/Google infrastructure). Where legally required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

    Retention

    • Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized upon account deletion; backups and logs purged on a rolling basis (typically within 30-90 days).
    • User-generated content: kept while visible in the service or until removed; subject to backup cycles.
    • Transactional email/logs and server logs: retained for a limited period (typically up to 30 days).

    Security

    • HTTPS/TLS transport security; ATS enforced.
    • Encryption at rest on providers' platforms.
    • Salted, one-way hashed passwords for email authentication (no plaintext).
    • Access controls and least-privilege operational practices.

    Your rights (UK/EU and similar jurisdictions)

    Subject to local law, you may:

    • Access the personal data we hold about you.
    • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
    • Delete your data (right to erasure). You can delete your account in-app when available, or contact us.
    • Restrict or object to certain processing.
    • Port your data to another provider where technically feasible.
    • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., UK ICO).

    To exercise rights, email support@digibleapp.com. We will respond within 30 days where required by law.

    User-generated content, reporting, and blocking

    Digible includes social features. You are responsible for the content you post. We prohibit abusive, illegal, or infringing content. Where available, use in-app tools to report content or block users. You can also email support@digibleapp.com with details (links/screenshots). We may remove content and/or take action on accounts that violate our guidelines.

    Push notifications

    With your permission, we send push notifications about friend requests, activity on your content, and account/security updates. You may disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.

    Children's privacy

    Digible is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@digibleapp.com and we will take appropriate steps.

    Third-party links

    The app may link to third-party sites or content we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

    Changes to this Policy

    We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices, legal, or regulatory requirements. We will post the updated date at the top. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in-app.
